API Management – Infrastructure vs SaaS

The Enterprise is buzzing with API initiatives these days. APIs not
only serve mobile applications, they are increasingly redefining how the
enterprise does B2B and integration in general. API management as a
category follows different models.

feature of Sensu. Nagios has been around for at least 1000 years

This is put in place when you construct a columnFamily.

As an example, in the Thrift API:CfDef columnFamily = new CfDef(KEYSPACE, COLUMN_FAMILY);
columnFamily.setKey_validation_class(&quot;UTF8Type&quot;);
columnFamily.setDefault_validation_class(&quot;UTF8Type&quot;); The default_validation_class is used to validate row...<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/zones/server/~4/cD-sQqiKoRY" height="1" width="1"/>

DevOps: Adapt or Die

Two bloggers have stimulated a flurry of activity in Sysadmin and DevOps communities recently with their similar conclusions about the ongoing fall of traditional system administration and the arrival of (you guessed it!) DevOps.
      Preview Text:&nbsp;

                    It&#039;s a very cool time for developers, and it can be a great time for sysadmins too if they embrace...<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/zones/server/~4/h4dFxuL2V2o" height="1" width="1"/>

NoSQL: A Life Without Schema

NoSql
is not a replacemente for SQL databases, but it is a valid alternative
for a lot of situations where standard SQL is not the best approach to
store your data. Since we were taught that whenever you need to store
data on a “data store” and you need to query that data for retrieval,
SQL is the best solution, you have only to decide what Sql Engine to use
and the game is done.

Brief Comparison between Windows Azure and Amazon Web Service

Today I was discussing about my first Windows Azure project and came
to know some interesting things and some comparison between the Windows
Azure and Amazon Web Services. Each has its own advantages and
disadvantage, to my followers who frequently ask me about what Azure is
and when to use the Azure cloud this comparison chart will give some
insight on the things to consider. Below...<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/zones/server/~4/Uc06k8C9n6A" height="1" width="1"/>
